About Me

I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 127921), supervised by Laura Melgosa (LMFT 34899), serving the Tri-Valley and surrounding areas.

It is my pleasure and honor to serve you as a psychotherapist. My specialities and special interests include working with trauma, identity, crisis and crisis management, and relational challenges. Other issues and disorders I have experience working with include depression, anxiety, sexual disorders, substance use, crisis and crisis management, bipolar disorder, infidelity, social anxiety, grief and loss, immigration trauma, and personality disorders.

I hold an integrative approach, meaning that I draw from a variety of theories and use them to inform my practice. With this, I tailor my approach to each client's needs so that they may receive the best possible care. Overall, though, my approach derives heavily from mindfulness, somatic psychology, emotion-focused therapy, internal family systems, attachment, and client-centered therapy.

I received my B.A. (with distinction) in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and later my M.A. in Counseling Psychology, LGBTQ+ Counseling emphasis, from Santa Clara University.
